⚠️ Termite swarming season is here Redlands
Warm, humid weather after rain is when Termites (Alates) take flight. If you’ve noticed clouds of small winged insects around your lights, windows or doorways at dusk, it’s time to take it seriously.
What to do if you see them:
1️⃣ Don’t spray them. It can scatter the activity and make it harder to track.
2️⃣ Take a clear photo, or keep a few in a jar.
3️⃣ Look for discarded wings on windowsills and floors. They’re often a sign the swarm came from nearby.
4️⃣ Book a termite inspection.
A swarm doesn’t always mean termites are in your home, but it’s a good reminder to get it checked. Termites can be active inside walls, floors and subfloors for a long time before any damage shows.
