Meet Craig Bennett — Construction Manager at Ecoliv
With nearly 40 years in the construction industry, Craig brings extensive experience across residential, medium-density and high-end construction projects.
As a registered builder, Craig oversees the day-to-day running of Ecoliv’s construction team, including scheduling, quality control and final project delivery — ensuring every home meets the highest standards before handover.
What he enjoys most about modular construction is the level of control and consistency it allows.
“Modular construction is much more controllable. We can monitor each stage closely and achieve a really consistent result.”
Craig is also passionate about the sustainability side of modular building and the reduction in construction waste compared to traditional methods.
For him, the most rewarding part of the role is seeing a project transform from a construction site into someone’s home.
“That moment when the lights are on and the house stops feeling like a building site — that’s the best part.”
Outside of work, Craig spends time boating and wakeboarding with his kids along the Murray River.
His advice for clients starting the building journey?
“Do your research and educate yourself about the process. Building doesn’t need to be stressful — it can actually be really enjoyable.”
