Looking for a fresh start in the new year?
We’re growing our team and are on the lookout for a Qualified Commercial Electrician to join us ✨

A full-time, permanent role is currently available for an experienced Commercial Electrician (or dual trade Refrigeration Mechanic) to join our established team at Bundaberg Refrigeration and Electrical.

Benefits:
Fully maintained company vehicle and fuel card for company use
Rostered On call bonus + 3 hour call out flat rate + penalties (where applicable)
Well compensated overtime opportunities
Opportunity to earn $110,000 + annually
PPE and Uniform provided
Flexible working hours - early start, early finish opportunities

Regular Staff breakfasts

Role Requirements:
Be an enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic
Be punctual, reliable and willing to learn
Have a positive attitude and be confident communicating with clients
Have a healthy respect for safety guidelines

Essential qualifications and experience:
Current QLD Electrical Licence
Current Class C Drivers License
Current CPR/LVR Certificate
QLD Construction Licence
Experience in electrical installations, maintenance, repairs and fault finding.
Technical knowledge of electrical systems and components.

Advantageous but not essential qualifications:
Dual trade qualifications - Refrigeration Mechanic & Electrician
WPCG Qualifications

Duties will include:
Preventative and reactive electrical maintenance, for commercial restaurants, agriculture and supermarket sites
Coordination with clients and other trades on site
General inspection of systems and facilities
Documentation and reporting
Compliance with safety regulations ensuring the wellbeing of yourself and others

Please note the following important information regarding lodgement of jobs during Holiday Trading:
BUSINESS HOURS - Dec 29th, 30th, 31st and Jan 2nd – (07 41531411) – Please call to lodge urgent jobs only as we have a skeleton staff on call. Emails will be checked intermittently during this period and non-urgent jobs will be triaged for attendance once normal trading resumes.
A/H CALL-OUTS – (0409531411) – Emails are not sufficient to lodge an urgent A/H job, only called in jobs will be attended. Please note below regarding A/H Call-out rates applicable over the holiday period.

As we wrap up another wonderful year, we’d like to thank all our customers for your support throughout 2025!

✨ We will be closed from:
25th of December to the 5th of January.

Skeleton staff will be available for urgent repairs on the 29th, 30th, 31st & 2nd.

We’ll reopen and be back to normal hours from the 5th of January.

Have you had your Refrigeration and HVAC systems serviced recently?

Regular monitoring and servicing of refrigeration equipment helps protect your business against unscheduled breakdowns and after hours call-outs. Regular servicing is also important in ensuring that product standard and integrity is maintained, reducing the risk of stock loss and spoilage.

The best time to service a cold storage facility, freezer or processing plant is during the months of September and October. This will ensure that the unit is operating efficiently before summer and warm temperatures arrive. Early servicing will also reduce the possibility of costly breakdowns during the Christmas and New Year period.

We're on the hunt for a Commercial Electrician to join our team of legends. If you can wire a switchboard blindfolded (please don’t), and have a sense of humor strong enough to survive our toolbox chats, we want you.
