Julia is Booked Accounting — A chartered accountant, registered tax agent and business advisor — and she looks after the books, tax and business side of GPS Plumbing from start to finish.

But Julia doesn’t just understand the trade business from behind a desk. After hours, on weekends and during emergency call-outs, she also pulls on the GPS Plumbing uniform and gets hands-on with the business.

This customer’s drains kept blocking…the culprit? Tree roots had made themselves at home inside the pipe.

Using high-pressure water jetting and a CCTV drain camera, we cleared the blockage and confirmed the line was flowing freely again.

If you’re dealing with recurring blocked drains, slow water flow or gurgling pipes, tree roots could be the cause.

Running a small business is definitely a family effort around here, so I just wanted to say a genuine thank you to everyone who continues to support us.

When you call, message, book a job, recommend me to friends, or share my business name around — you’re supporting more than just a plumber. You’re supporting our family.

Most days it’s me out on the tools while my wife and my mum help behind the scenes answering calls, replying to messages, organising the bookkeeping, and helping keep everything running smoothly.

It’s now been over 3 years since I started the business, and in that time we’ve been lucky enough to help so many great local families and businesses. Seeing repeat customers, referrals, and recommendations continue to come through honestly means a lot to us.
