🔥 When did you last check your smoke alarms?

They’re one of those things you don’t think about until you need them — but smoke alarms don’t last forever.

Most smoke alarms have a lifespan of around 10 years, and sometimes they may need replacing sooner. Dust, bugs and insects can get inside and interfere with the sensor, causing false alarms or affecting how well it works.

A few things worth checking:
• Test your alarms regularly
• Check the manufacture/expiry date
• Keep them clean and free from dust and insects
• Replace them if they’re expired, damaged or not working properly

Not sure how old yours are or whether they’re doing their job? The TME team can check your smoke alarms and replace them where needed.

A little check now could make a very big difference later.

Meet Wayne, our new Operations Manager at TME!

Wayne brings more than 20 years of experience in operational management, including working with Brisbane City Council, along with a hands-on background as a fitter and turner in the Army.

After living in Queensland with his wife and two boys (don’t worry, he’s still a Blues fan!), Wayne and his family have made the move back to Wagga and closer to home.

He’s looking forward to bringing his experience to TME and being part of a small family business — helping our team continue to grow, improve and thrive.

Another day on the job.

Zoe & Ben getting stuck into the switchboard for the four-unit residential development underway here in Temora.

We’re working alongside Phil Smith Building on this project, taking care of the electrical side as these four new homes start to come together.

Plenty happening behind the scenes — and plenty more progress to come.
