Today has been a busy day for one woman 🙋‍♀️ But I have some exciting news 😀🙌😄😁 This Sunday, I will attend my first market!!

Unfortunately I won't have many flowers on offer but I will have,

Dahlia tubers
Composting Worms
and Worm Tea 😀

Dahlia tubers are beginning to wake up so it's time to prep beds in time for planting!

All available tubers, worms and worm tea will be available at my normal roadside stand, from Monday onwards. Details for the market will be posted on Saturday 😀

This morning was a busy one but I've made it inside for a coffee and shower before work 😀

I have been brewing up a new home-made fertiliser and have given it a try in the garden. About 3 weeks ago, I collected some lawn clippings in buckets, filled with water and let sit until this morning.

My verdict, if it works as well as it smells, then the garden should get a good boost! I tried straining the grass tea with a pillow case, but found it too slow. So through a sifter I use for potting mix, over a tub and I collected a large amount of tea! I was able to mix it in my water can, 10 litres to 1-ish of the tea and pour around my plants.

So if you can handle bad smells, and have some gloves handy (which I forgot), then you'll too be brewing some grass tea 😀

Day 2, day 3, day 4.......At this rate, I'll have Flowers next week!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This heated Mat with humidity dome, has been a game changer!! This wonderful tool, along with my gaining knowledge of Horticulture, is helping my simple little flower farm, grow grow grow 😀

I can't wait to see how these Zinnia plants go!
So grateful to see little steps of progress 🥰
