From run-down cottage to cosy Yorke Peninsula escape.

This project began with our client’s desire to rescue a crumbling 1890s cottage into a tiny weekend getaway.

We brought new life to the cottage with modern amenities (think a working kitchen and bathroom) while making it comfortable and welcoming for weekends away.

The result is a practical transformation that feels warm, functional and connected to its setting.

A new era for JBG Architects!

As we approach our 30th year, we're excited to announce a strengthened leadership team that will help shape the future of JBG Architects.

Founder and Director Jamie Gladigau continues to guide the business and is now joined by Tony Niutta, Commercial Manager, and Graham Baker, Residential Manager, who together bring 28 years of experience to the leadership team.

Jamie describes this era as, "Bringing a new generation of leadership to the business while continuing to deliver innovative architectural and interior design services for many years to come."

Graham joined JBG Architects in 2007 and has since led hundreds of residential projects across the Barossa, regional South Australia and interstate. His continued professional development and leadership have seen him progress to Residential Manager and Associate.

Tony celebrates 10 years with JBG Architects this September. He has played a key role in major commercial projects, including the upcoming Tanunda Central Market, developments at the Angaston Hotel, and cellar door projects for Skillogalee in the Clare Valley and Rieslingfreak in Tanunda.

We're also proud to announce that Tony Niutta has joined Jamie Gladigau as co-owner and Director of JBG Architects.

Together, Jamie, Tony and Graham will lead our talented team of Interior Designers and Architectural Technicians into the next chapter of JBG Architects.

It’s fantastic to see the Barossa in the spotlight again for this year’s AFL Gather Round.

At JBG Architects, we’re proud supporters of grassroots footy, and we’ve also helped design some of the spaces that will be part of the action over the weekend, from the Barossa Visitor Information Centre to Tanunda Recreation Park.
