One of our customers asked to install 4 banks of PowerPoints to run pumps for their "Drunken Turtle" Vats. Our mechanical/fabricator Matt fabricated some very sturdy powerpoint mounts and installed cable tray. We ran the cables from the board to the outlets and our newest member (apprentice) Ari had his first taste of Tray work. Measuring, cutting and making his tray cover look nice and neat with not a single burr in sight. The pinch weld finishes nicely on those edges. Good job Ari

Hay Australia Decontaminator installation.
Big thanks to Hay Australia, Paskerville for choosing us to help with this job.
We relocated the teaser back 5 metres to fit the decontaminator and transfer conveyor in.
Some of the cable feeding existing motors on VSDs needed to be upgraded to EMC cable along with 6 new motors and VSDs.
Some sexy tray work and fabrication by our fitter Matt along with some nice tidy cable runs.
The new switch board layout came out a treat. Big thanks to the boys from Nicholls electrical who had their head is the Control board for 5 days to complete the control wiring.
It was a two week slog but a job well done

On the domestic side of things
- Photo 1 & 2
We have the big job of renovating an old stone house. The customer wants all the cable recessed into the wall and some new outlets installed. its going to be a big ongoing job but so far we have one happy customer.
- Photo 3
Brand new DC fan with light and remote. I installed 5 of these in all the bedrooms and the customer was so happy he requested 3 more.
- Photo 4
This one is a reminder to get your house checked for vermin. the customer was saying her fan on the range-hood wasn't sucking properly. upon inspection the ducting, among a lot of other thing, had been chewed by a rat or possum. This was obviously reducing the airflow. i was able to tape it up but advised to get the house cleared before replacing otherwise we will have the same problem. SIDE NOTE - the aircon controller was also not working. The cable to the controller was chewed straight through.

Its been a while since my last post but thats an indication of how busy its been around the barossa for all trades.
here are some of the projects I've been up to.
- Picture 1 & 2
client wanted some new labels and indicator lights for the wine chillers. Brand new 24v power supply and wiring to the indicators and solenoids to show when there is wine flow and when to call the brine too cool. New traffolyte labels to spruce things up
- Picture 3, 4 and 5
After doing some routine pre vintage checks on the tanks and pumps i found some damaged cables. These cables were a safety concern as there was some exposed copper. I replaced the cable and installed metal glands and metal anaconda conduit to protect the cables from further damage
- Picture 6
Relocated powerpoint bank to a more readily accessible area. just waiting on some mechanical protection for those cables to be folded up and we'll have one happy customer.
