BIG news from the ASG team this week! 🙌

We are thrilled to share two exciting updates as we wrap up June:
📍 New Hunter Office — Almost Open! We are in the final stages of opening our new office at Rutherford, right in the heart of the Hunter. A new permanent local base (and just around the corner from our original office too) for our team to better serve our Hunter clients — and a big step forward for ASG in the region.

🔧 New Senior Security Technician — This week we welcome a new Senior Security Technician joining us in Taree. Lachlan brings even more expertise and capacity to our Mid-North Coast clients with his years of commercial and residential security solutions with technical work on large scale sites all over Queensland and New South Wales.

This growth is a direct result of the incredible dedication of our Hunter Area Team and Technicians who have worked hard to grow ASG’s presence and keep our clients protected. We couldn’t be prouder of this team.

Play Ball! June Carnival 2026 is officially underway!

After months of planning, preparation and hard work, the first pitches have been thrown and the action is on across the diamonds.

We would like to welcome all players, coaches, officials, volunteers and supporters to Tamworth for the 57th June Carnival. Sincere thanks to everyone who has made the journey. Thank you for being part of what is shaping up to be our biggest carnival yet.

Meet Chris Dyson 👋

Director & General Manager – Advanced Security Group

Chris’s story with ASG started back in 2003 — as an apprentice.

Over the past 20+ years, he’s worked his way through the business from the ground up, and in December 2023, he and his wife Jen took ownership of Advanced Security Group — a milestone that means everything when you’ve grown up inside a business.

What we love most about having Chris lead the team is simple — he gets it. He’s been on the tools, he’s been on the job sites, and he understands what clients actually need when it matters most. That practical experience shapes the way ASG operates every single day.

He’s also surrounded himself with some incredibly dedicated people — many of whom have been with ASG for years. That kind of loyalty from a team speaks volumes.

Outside of work, Chris is kept busy by four kids and a serious commitment to the Boston Red Sox. ⚾ We don’t hold that against him. Or that he is a big fan of the Canberra Raiders.
