With all the recent rain, we're seeing an increase in root rot and tree failures.

A few simple steps can help keep your trees healthy:
🌳 Keep the base of tree trunks clear of mulch, grass clippings and other debris. Constant moisture against the trunk can encourage decay.
💧 If you're on acreage with a biocycle or tank sprinkler system, check that it isn't creating permanently damp areas around your trees. Excessive moisture around the root zone can lead to root rot and instability.

If you've noticed mushrooms around the base of a tree, leaning trees, dead branches, or soft, decaying wood near the trunk, it's worth having them inspected before they become a hazard.
