We were proud to sponsor the Under 15s Lower Mountains teams with their new New Zealand team kits for their recent tour.

It looks like the boys had an incredible trip, creating plenty of memories both on and off the field. We’re so proud to support our local junior teams and see them representing the Lower Mountains in style! 💙

🐍 Snake season has arrived in the Blue Mountains!

With the warmer weather comes a few slithery visitors on our building sites. This little guy was safely removed by a professional snake handler, always a job best left to the experts!

A reminder to keep an eye out around your property and worksite and never attempt to handle a snake yourself. Stay safe out there! 👀🐍

🧠✨ A night of trivia for a great cause!

We were proud to support the Gateway Family Services Trivia Fundraiser, with Mark attending the event and Hotondo Homes Blue Mountains donating two Bunnings gift cards to help support the evening. 💙

It’s always great to come together as a community, have a bit of fun and support an organisation doing such important work in our local area.

From a cleared block to a home taking shape! 🏡

It’s amazing to see how quickly a build can transform. From clearing the block, to pouring the slab, framing the home and now seeing the cladding go on, this one is really starting to come together!

And of course, we couldn’t leave out a familiar face… 👋 Corey, our concrete delivery driver, has made another appearance on site! If you’ve been following our previous builds, you might recognise him. 🚛

Another exciting stage of the build complete, with plenty more to come!

It’s the little details that make a home truly one of a kind. 🏡

Built into the beautiful sandstone retaining wall at the front of this recent Hotondo Homes Blue Mountains build is a special piece of its story. The year construction began, hand-carved in Roman numerals into the sandstone.

A timeless detail that will be part of this home for generations to come. 🤍

One of our recent builds is now surrounded by a beautiful, thriving garden and judging by the number of busy little visitors, the bees are loving it just as much as we are!

🏡 Slab day in Mt Victoria!

Another build taking shape in the beautiful Blue Mountains, with the slab going down and the next stage officially underway.

We may have been pushing the friendship with the neighbours just a little… 😅 A bit of traffic control was needed to get the truck safely in and keep everything moving!

Luckily, we had our very friendly delivery driver Corey on the job.

All in a day’s work when you’re building in the Mountains! 🚧🏗️

Through our partnership with Robbie Maddison at this year’s Finke Desert Race, we had the chance to hear him reflect on racing, fatherhood and what drives him.

For Robbie, becoming a dad didn’t mean leaving big dreams behind. It changed what they meant. His passion for racing is now part of what he hopes to pass on to his kids: resilience, determination and the belief that sometimes you have to dig a little deeper to get across the line.

At Hotondo Homes, we spend a lot of time thinking about what makes a house a home. Stories like Robbie’s are a pretty good answer. Family, support and knowing there are people behind you every step of the way.
