This old rotten deck had reached the end of its life and required a complete replacement, including the entire framework.

Once the new structure was installed, we laid Spotted Gum decking and finished it with a brand-new timber balustrade. A couple of coats of oil to bring out the natural beauty of the timber and a fresh coat of paint to the balustrade completely transformed the space.

Now this area is not only safe and built to last but also a welcoming and visually appealing place to come home to.

When building a deck close to ground level, using the right materials is critical. We use H4 LOWDECK treated structural timber designed for ground contact to prevent rot and termite damage, paired with composite decking for a low-maintenance, long-lasting finish that won’t warp or splinter. Every deck is also built with proper drainage and airflow in mind to avoid moisture build-up underneath. Cut corners on materials and you’ll be repairing it in a few years — build it properly once and it’ll last.

Pool Area Transformation – North Manly

Looking to refresh your pool area? This North Manly backyard renovation shows how the right design and materials can completely transform an outdoor space.

By removing tired, outdated paving and replacing it with premium silver travertine tiles, we created a brighter, more functional pool surround, finished with contrasting limestone coping for a high-end, resort-style look.

To elevate both style and practicality, we installed an Acoustic Box pool filter enclosure, modern castellated cladding to boundary fences, corten steel garden edging, and custom garden lighting to enhance the space day and night.

The project was completed with frameless glass pool fencing, finished with matte black spigots and hardware for a sleek, contemporary finish.

The result is a modern, low-maintenance pool area designed for entertaining, relaxing, and adding long-term value to the home. Our clients were over the moon — and this transformation speaks for itself.

Our team recently finished a decking project in Frenchs Forest, engineered to meet bushfire attack zone standards. The design incorporates Spotted gum decking, stairs, and balustrade with stainless steel wiring, expanding our clients' outdoor living space. Future plans include adding privacy screens to both ends of the deck. We appreciate the exceptional hospitality from our clients, who were thoroughly pleased with the project's success.

The existing decking and framework in this courtyard in Woollahra was completely rotten and needed to be demolished. We installed new framework as well as a new Merbau deck/bench and batten screening for added privacy. The bench consists of access lids for storage underneath and access to bins in the laneway.

White hydra split sandstone walling in Balgowlah, rock faced on all exposed sides along with sawn sandstone rock faced capping. This front boundary wall created that beautiful natural look along with creating an inviting street appeal. Clients were extremely happy with the result.
