Have you ever dreamed of selling flat whites and almond cappuccinos straight from the back of your car? ☕️

Well..Nick did.

He came to us with the idea of turning his 60 series LandCruiser into a Coffee Cruiser - and we couldn’t resist the challenge.

We are now putting the final touches on this little beast and it’s been such an interesting one to build.

Coffee machine. Grinder. Slide-out coffee station. Hot water. Plumbing. And a pretty serious 48V electrical system to keep it all running.

Results coming very soon!

We started working with corkon about a year ago, and our very first project was spraying our own van.

We tested it, lived with it and made sure we loved the results — which is why we now include cork insulation in all of our full van builds.

Swipe through to see why cork has become our insulation of choice.

⬆️ Here’s what an upgrade to your existing van fit-out can look like!

We’ve been a little quiet on here lately, but definitely not quiet in the workshop! We’ve been busy working away behind the scenes and getting ready for a big season of builds ahead.

This Mercedes Sprinter came to us with an existing fit-out already done — but there was just one thing missing… a shower🚿

So we got to work and installed a shower cubical, making it fit seamlessly into the existing.

We’ve got some very exciting builds coming up, and we can’t wait to share more of what we’ve been working on with you!

We love watching you guys get excited about a dream you’ve had for so long. F***y came to us with a vision - build everything herself, except the cabinetry. That’s where we stepped in. All solid cabinetry is now in, and her Toyota HiAce is ready for adventures ahead!

Another project wrapped up!
This LDV Deliver 9 was all about “stage one” of the build. Hannah wanted to complete the shell with us, while her friend will be taking care of all the cabinetry.
We started with a 3D design to help visualise the layout, then got to work creating a solid foundation for everything to come. The build included:
• Windows & MaxxFan installation
• Insulation with corkon
• Framing
• Wall lining & flooring
• A separation wall with a large window opening to keep the space feeling open and full of light
• Fresh and grey water tanks mounted underneath the van
Together with ON the ROAD , we also installed a complete off-grid electrical system, ready for wherever the road leads.
It was great being part of this build, and helping set up the perfect blank canvas for Hannah’s cabinetry. We can’t wait to see how she transforms this space with the next stage! 🚐

Hey, it’s us - Smilte and Jack. 👋

The two people behind Amber Fitouts. The two people who fell in love with van life through our own adventures and decided to help others experience that same freedom.

Van life opens up so many opportunities to explore new places, meet incredible people, and collect stories you’ll be telling for years to come.

And we want you to experience it all in the best way possible.

That’s why we take the time to get to know you. We want to understand how you travel, what hobbies you have, what makes you feel at home, and even how you like to organise your gear. Because every build is designed around the person using it.

We think twenty steps ahead, so when you’re out on the road, your van simply works. We want you to feel comfortable, relaxed, and free to enjoy the adventure instead of worrying about the little things.

There’s nothing we love more than seeing our clients head off on the road in a van built just for them. 🫶

Whether you’re standing in front of an empty van wondering where to begin, or you’ve already started your build and just need a helping hand, we would love to welcome you into our workshop.

That’s just a small and dreamy moment from our recent Mercedes Sprinter campervan conversion.
