You would have seen our post earlier in the week, letting you know about the Fronius EV charger.
To dive a little deeper and let you know more about the charger. Here are some great options you can benefit from when you choose this charger. 💫
The Fronius Wattpilot comes in two versions - 11 kW and 22 kW power categories:
Home – the fitted charger for use at home – and Go, the transportable solution for when you’re on the road.
The charger can be operated with ease via the Solar.wattpilot app, which also allows you to choose between Eco and Next Trip mode.
Eco Mode
The preferred mode for PV system owners. It ensures that the vehicle is charged – if available – with self-generated solar power or the cheapest mains current.
Next Trip Mode
Next Trip Mode is for those of you who want to reliably charge your electric car to cover a specific journey – a certain number of kilometres – by a specific time. If available, surplus PV power from your own PV system is used or the cheapest mains current.
The benefits: you will save while you charge and make optimum use of your PV system so that it pays for itself faster. 🌟
