AS Colour – DFO Moorabbin | Week 2 Progress 🏗️

Another strong week of progress at our AS Colour – DFO Moorabbin retail fitout.

The store is really starting to take shape, with wall setting and sanding completed, painting and feature finishes progressing, services fit-off underway, and the installation of the custom joinery and retail fixtures commencing.

The POS counter has been assembled, client-supplied fixtures are arriving on site, and the overall AS Colour aesthetic is now coming together as we move into the final stages of the fitout.

A great effort from everyone involved as we push toward completion.

Final week coming up – stay tuned for the finished store. 👀

AS Colour – DFO Moorabbin | Week 1 Progress
A strong first week on site at our AS Colour fitout at DFO Moorabbin.
Epoxy flooring is complete, structural steel and wall framing are substantially in place, services rough-ins are complete, and wall sheeting and setting are now underway.
Great progress from the team as the internal fitout really starts to take shape.
Keep an eye on this one — it’s coming together fast!

Project Update: One Central Park, Sydney

As part of our ongoing works across One Central Park, our team recently completed another technically challenging milestone.
This one-day operation involved removing a fixed glazed façade panel measuring approximately 2.7m x 2.0m, comprising 4 x 10mm laminated glass, using a spider crane in a confined live environment.

With the glazing safely removed, a new weatherproof louvre was installed to allow the commercial kitchen exhaust system to connect and safely discharge externally.
The works required detailed planning, specialist lifting equipment and close coordination between multiple trades to ensure the installation was completed safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to the surrounding public and businesses.

This is just one of several projects currently being delivered by the Onpoint Projects team at One Central Park.
Well done to everyone involved on another successful milestone.

Project Complete ✔️
We're proud to announce the successful completion of another major project for Fraser Suites Sydney.

Delivered within a live hotel environment, our team successfully completed:
✔️ Replacement of 15 Temperzone condenser water packaged air conditioning units
✔️ Replacement of the 94kW GJ Walker rooftop Air Handling Unit (AHU)
✔️ Replacement of 2 water heat pumps servicing the guest pools

The project was delivered on time, on budget, and with minimal disruption to hotel guests over a 19-week construction program.
This outcome is a testament to the planning, coordination and professionalism of everyone involved.

Project Update: Fraser Suites HVAC Upgrade

We're pleased to share a major milestone in our HVAC upgrade project at Fraser Suites Sydney.

The project involved replacing an end-of-life Air Handling Unit (AHU) on the Level 42 rooftop, supplying conditioned air to the building's common areas across all 42 levels.

Due to significant access constraints, our team carefully dismantled both the existing and new AHUs into transportable sections for removal and installation. This approach maintained the manufacturer's warranty while eliminating the need for major crane lifts, road closures and permits—delivering significant cost savings and minimising disruption to hotel operations.

With installation now complete, we're in the final stages of testing and commissioning, with practical completion fast approaching.
A great result delivered within a tightly programmed three-week shutdown period. Well done to our team, suppliers and subcontractors for their outstanding effort and coordination throughout the project.

Project Update: One Central Park, Broadway

We’re currently completing one of the most important stages of this hospitality fit-out — even though it’ll never be seen once finished.

For food prep areas and commercial kitchens, Australian Standards require solid wall construction to help prevent pest movement and bacteria harbourage within wall cavities.

Our injection process fills all voids within the stud walls, creating a sealed system behind the finishes. Each wall is then thermally scanned to verify full cavity fill before certification and handover.
Quality fit-outs start behind the walls — and this is a major step toward delivering a high-performance commercial kitchen environment.
