Project Update: Fraser Suites HVAC Upgrade

We're pleased to share a major milestone in our HVAC upgrade project at Fraser Suites Sydney.

The project involved replacing an end-of-life Air Handling Unit (AHU) on the Level 42 rooftop, supplying conditioned air to the building's common areas across all 42 levels.

Due to significant access constraints, our team carefully dismantled both the existing and new AHUs into transportable sections for removal and installation. This approach maintained the manufacturer's warranty while eliminating the need for major crane lifts, road closures and permits—delivering significant cost savings and minimising disruption to hotel operations.

With installation now complete, we're in the final stages of testing and commissioning, with practical completion fast approaching.
A great result delivered within a tightly programmed three-week shutdown period. Well done to our team, suppliers and subcontractors for their outstanding effort and coordination throughout the project.

Project Update: One Central Park, Broadway

We’re currently completing one of the most important stages of this hospitality fit-out — even though it’ll never be seen once finished.

For food prep areas and commercial kitchens, Australian Standards require solid wall construction to help prevent pest movement and bacteria harbourage within wall cavities.

Our injection process fills all voids within the stud walls, creating a sealed system behind the finishes. Each wall is then thermally scanned to verify full cavity fill before certification and handover.
Quality fit-outs start behind the walls — and this is a major step toward delivering a high-performance commercial kitchen environment.

PROJECT UPDATE:
Fraser Suites Sydney – Mechanical Services Upgrade (Common Areas) is progressing strongly.
✅ Level 10 Dining / Breakfast complete
✅ Level 12 Hotel Gym complete
✅ Level 11 Meeting Rooms complete
✅ Level 11 Office Space (final clean underway)
🔄 50% of Level 10 Office Space completed through early access

We are now halfway through the project, with remaining areas progressively opening up. Completion is scheduled for May 2026, and we will continue to provide updates as we move toward final delivery.

Working within a live hotel environment requires disciplined planning, close stakeholder coordination, and minimal disruption — our team has delivered each floor cycle efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Momentum is strong and we’re currently tracking ahead of programme.

Project Completion ✔️
We’re pleased to announce the completion of a full Fire Services Upgrade at Fraser Suites Hotel, Sydney.
The works included the complete replacement of:
* Fire Indicator Panels (FIP) & EWIS panels
* Mimic panels
* WIPs
* All field devices
Delivered across 700+ apartments spanning two residential towers, including four commercial levels and basement areas.
These works were completed in a live hotel environment, requiring careful planning and coordination to ensure minimal disruption to guests and staff throughout the project.
Great effort by the entire team — on to the next one 👏

Another Design & Construct project proudly delivered by Onpoint Projects for Mission Australia.
Our team fully demolished the previous office and completed a brand-new fit out, including a modern kitchen, newly built bathrooms and a practical workspace designed for staff and visitors.
A fresh, functional space delivered from start to finish.

We recently completed a project for apparel brand ascolour ✔️
Our team carried out minor upgrades at both the Newtown and Bondi Junction stores, giving each space a cleaner and more modern feel.

All works were completed after hours to ensure zero disruption to the team and their customers, something we always prioritise.
