After many months of planning and coordination, one of our 480-tonne cranes lifted the first section of the new pedestrian footbridge into place over the rail corridor.

This spectacular lift followed months of preparation and teamwork from everyone involved in this huge project.

With the footbridge platform and track works progressing well, the project is moving closer to delivering a brand-new station, which will be more accessible and better connected to nearby Loganlea health, education and community services. Transport and Main Roads Queensland

A massive few days on site at Broadbeach.
Borger Cranes was proud to install a number of storeys of LTE Precast CoreCubes for GRAYA's ENCLAVE project.
This project has attracted a lot of attention and been widely shared on social media. But you’ve NEVER, EVER seen… the point of view of Wade, our crane operator!

Monica’s coffee shop, La Pola Cafe, lived inside a shipping container jammed between buildings in Brisbane’s CBD. But when it was time to move, getting that container out looked impossible.

Most crane companies told her: too hard, too complicated. B𝐨r𝐠e𝐫 𝐂r𝐚n𝐞s said: it’s tough, but we can do it 💪

Our engineers found the solution, and a crew arrived at dawn on a Saturday to lift the container clear and give Monica’s business a fresh start.

For years, Monica served coffee from La Pola Cafe, a shipping container tucked right into the middle of Brisbane’s city streets. Everyone wondered how that thing ever got in there - let alone how you’d get it out.

When she decided it was time to move, she rang B𝐨r𝐠e𝐫 𝐂r𝐚n𝐞s, and we said: yes, it’s technical, but it’s possible. 💡

With only a few days to spare, our engineers mapped out the lift and our crew turned up at sunrise on a Saturday to pull the container free and help Monica take her business to a new spot.

Monica’s story is one many Aussie business owners know well: big challenge, tight deadline, no obvious solution. That’s where B𝐨r𝐠e𝐫 𝐂r𝐚n𝐞s comes in.

Borger Crane Hire and Rigging has recently acquired a 100-tonne telescopic crawler. Having watched the product releases by XCMG Australia , we were keen to see how the cranes would perform in practice.
After discussing a couple of models with The Crane Connection and the XCMG team, they agreed to lend us the XGTC100 on the condition that, if we were satisfied with its performance, we would purchase it.
