Our Director, John Kypreos, is gearing up for the 2026 Bowral Classic this weekend, taking on 85km in support of a cause that truly matters.

Through the Little Legs Foundation, John is helping raise vital funds for research into DIPG, a devastating childhood brain cancer.

But he can't do it alone.

We're calling on our Kypreos Group community, colleagues, friends and supporters to get behind John and help make every kilometre count.

Today, we're celebrating an incredible milestone for Sue Pearce, who has been part of the Kypreos Group family since 2004!

Beginning her journey with Nace Civil Engineering, Sue has played an important role across the Group over the years, contributing to payroll before moving into her current role in Accounts Payable for State Asphalt Services.

22 years of hard work, loyalty and dedication is something worth celebrating!

From coffee cups to asphalt. ☕ ➡️ 🛣️

At the Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre, State Asphalt NSW helped deliver a world-first sustainable asphalt solution incorporating fibres recycled from waste coffee cups and a low-carbon biogenic binder.

The trial pavement was put through its paces — approximately 14,600 truck movements, representing around 10 years of operational traffic, while delivering a 25% reduction in carbon emissions per square metre.

Innovation that didn’t just perform — it was recognised. 🏆

Winner | 2025 AFPA - Australian Flexible Pavement Association Outstanding Project – Less than $10 Million

Delivered for Sydney Water Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre, in collaboration with John Holland, SAMI Bitumen Technologies, Closed Loop and project partners.

LOOKING BACK IN HISTORY | THE M4 🛣️

Before it became one of Western Sydney’s most important transport corridors, it looked a little different…

During the early 1970s, construction was underway on what was then known as the F4 Western Freeway, connecting Penrith towards Prospect and laying the foundations for what we now know as the M4 Motorway.

Our crews carried out concrete works during the construction of the motorway — helping build a road that would become part of the everyday journey for generations of Western Sydney.
More than 50 years later, we're still building and maintaining the roads that keep NSW moving.

Some roads carry traffic. Others carry history.
