Sydney deserves a civic square that works as both infrastructure and invitation.

Beside Town Hall, a low concrete pavilion floats through the trees — creating a shaded public room with cafés, gathering spaces and Metro connections. Beneath and around it, water, planting and terraces shape a cooler, greener landscape where people can sit, meet, play or simply pass through.

Bold enough to define the square, quiet enough to let Sydney Town Hall remain the hero.

A cooler, greener, more playful heart for Sydney.

Paddington Terrace Alteration & Addition

Modifications prioritised improved access to natural light and stunning harbour views for the new kitchen.

Polished concrete steps mark the transition from the kitchen to the elevated dining area. This design element complements the island, which features Fior Di Pesco Marble from CDK Stone on both the countertop and sides. On the living room side of the kitchen, a striking cantilevered benchtop functions as both a balustrade for the lower level and a practical area for casual dining.

The cooking zone directly opposite the island is equipped with two underbench V-Zug ovens and a fluh mounted V-Zug cooktop within a matching marble bench top. It also features dual cylindrical Qasair range hoods. A full-height Fior Di Pesco marble splashback extends into a ceiling trough, beautifully illuminated by natural light from a concealed skylight. On either side of the cooking zone, full-height cabinetry houses a pantry and appliance cabinet, complete with retractable pocket doors finished in brushed black stained walnut veneer.
