Project - Town Hall House Level 17 Male and Female bathroom Refurbishment.

Treg Co. Plumbing recently completed the refurbishment of the level 17 male and female bathrooms located in Town Hall House.

We replaced all the existing bathroom fixtures with new. This included 7 toilet suites, 6 basins and 3 urinals.

We also removed all the old cast iron sewer pipework and replaced with new PVC. The old pipework was rusted. All penetrations were sealed and fire collars installed.

We were able to undertake this work out of hours to ensure minimal disruption to the building and existing services.

Project Update - Jannali Preschool

Head contractor - Halbuild

Client - Sutherland Shire Council

This week Treg Co. Plumbing completed a 30m sewer replacement and addition of a new stormwater drainage pit and 25m of stormwater pipework with a new kerb connection.

The excavation was undertaken utilising a non destructive excavation truck due to the close proximity to other essential services.

The existing sewer pipework was infested with tree roots and required regular maintenance to clear blockages. Treg Co. Plumbing completed the CCTV inspection and location of the pipework to identify the issues. With a thorough investigation undertaken it enabled us to provide the client with the best option to rectify these issues and provide a high quality finished product.

At the property there was no existing stormwater pipework or service present on one side of the property. During rainfall there was flooding that was occurring which required rectification. Treg Co. Plumbing was able to provide an option to install a new stormwater service for this side of the property as well as a drainage pit to take surface water on a new concrete slab to be installed.

The trench was reinstated with new turf to ensure the area was reinstated for a professional finish.

Treg Co. Plumbing was engaged by City Coast Constructions to deliver the hydraulic scope of works at Bobbin Head Inn for the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.

Our works included the installation of a new cool room, along with stormwater pits and pipework designed to efficiently manage surface and groundwater in the area.

We supplied and installed concrete stormwater pits connected via RHS galvanised steel pipework in accordance with the hydraulic engineer’s design — ensuring durability and long-term performance.

Additionally, we installed a fire hose reel and connected stormwater downpipes to prevent surface water pooling and improve site drainage during heavy rainfall.

Specialised Plumbing Works

At a recent government site, our team was called to investigate a sinkhole forming around the main sewer drainage.

Through dye testing, we identified the issue—a damaged sewer pipe connected to a manhole approximately 5 metres deep. The dye test confirmed the fault as it entered the manhole via the broken pipework.

Partnering with , we completed a trenchless pipe reline to repair the damage. This required confined space entry into the manhole to assist with the reline installation.

At .plumbing , our specialised services include highly trained confined space personnel. We ensure all works are carried out safely and compliantly, completing gas testing, securing the required permits, and providing proper ventilation to keep our contractors safe on-site.
