Basco Projects is proud to announce the completion our latest Design & Construct project, a breathtaking Viewing Platform with connecting network of Accessible Boardwalks and Bridge at the picturesque Lakes of Cherrybrook, in partnership with Hornsby Shire Council.

This project was no ordinary walk in the park! We faced a series of unique challenges including;
• No access for machinery to more than half of the project
• Critical Root Zones in most Footing locations
• Removal of an existing dilapidated Timber Bridge
• All works within an Environmentally Protected Area

Our team utilised an innovative Footing System and non-conventional Access methods to ensure design intent was unaltered, engineering standards were met, and utmost respect and protection for the surrounding native environment were achieved.
What we've accomplished on this project is a testament to our team. Using Fibre Reinforced Plastic and Australian Hardwood we were able to seamlessly integrate this Viewing Platform and Accessible Network into its natural surroundings, enhanced by additional native landscaping, providing a fantastic experience for all who visit the stunning area.

We're thrilled to announce that Basco Projects has successfully designed and installed a brand new and exciting Natural Play Ninja Course for the Department of Education.

What sets our project apart is our innovative approach, as we integrated an existing majestic tree into the design. This brilliant addition allowed us to offer not just one, but TWO exhilarating routes catering to diverse age groups within the school, providing varying levels of difficulty.

This project was a great example of how we can work with our clients to create unique and engaging play spaces that meet their specific needs. We're thrilled with the results and can't wait to see the students enjoying the course.

Quarter Sessions Road, Westleigh - Project Update.
Our team at Basco Projects believes that design and engineering should not just exist in isolation, but should seamlessly integrate into the surrounding environment. We took great care to approach this project by firstly understanding the context of the site, the community, the environment, and the ecosystems before embarking on this project.
Our aim at Quarter Sessions Road in Westleigh was to design a space that not only looked beautiful but also served its purpose effectively. We believe that integration of design and functionality is crucial in creating sustainable and impactful projects. We strive to create stunning designs, but what sets us apart is our dedication to delivering spaces people love and enjoy spending time in.

Carrs Bush Boardwalk at Fagan Park, Galston is receiving some impressive Public & Client Feedback (and an astronomical increase in visitors) since our recent completion of a 310m Disability Accessible Elevated Boardwalk Loop available to the entire Community.

The Accessible Nature Walk gives the Community unrivalled access into Sydney’s oldest Turpentine Forest winding within it’s natural bush setting including creek crossings and a rest area complete with natural seating and interactive signage & information boards all along the way. The Walkway also provides ease of access to the Park’s more challenging natural trails and begins and ends at Fagan Park’s newest Nature Playground with BBQ facilities and Shelters available.
