Synergy Resource Management is proud to be delivering the landfill capping works at the Taree Waste Management Centre on behalf of MidCoast Council.

This important project follows years of planning and consultation led by MidCoast Council, working with environmental specialists and the NSW EPA, to develop a fully compliant and sustainable capping design. Having previously completed Stage 1 and Stage 2 landfill cell construction and leachate management works at this site, Synergy is pleased to return to deliver what will be one of our largest civil remediation projects to date.

The project will support local employment, with Synergy engaging an additional seven local staff during delivery. Works will involve the import of approximately 266,000 tonnes of material to achieve the final capped design, a major milestone in ensuring the long-term environmental performance of the site.

Synergy looks forward to collaborating with MidCoast Council and local contractors to deliver this significant environmental improvement for the MidCoast region.

Synergy is excited to announce the award of the Anderson Avenue Reconstruction project by Richmond Valley Council. This strategically important project for RVC involves extensive civil works within an urban and existing infrastructure sensitive environment.

Our contracted scope requires us to allow access to residents and includes:
Demolition of existing pavements, fences, driveways, vegetation and stormwater infrastructure, earthworks, trenching and compaction.

Construction of flexible pavements, stabilising sub-base, concrete kerbs with tie-ins to existing road infrastructure. Construction of stormwater systems involving pits, pipes and lintels into existing assets.

Synergy looks forward to working with RVC, relevant stakeholders and subcontractors to deliver this project for the local community.

Synergy have designed and constructed a Passive Barrier System (PBS) to provide effective treatment of migrating contaminated surface water. The PBS can be tailored for the treatment of multiple co-contaminants including PFAS, offering cost-effective and value for money solutions to complex surface water treatment requirements. This low-maintenance filtration system is performing strongly and supports long-term sustainable remediation.
