A little trip back into the archives. 🏡🍝

Years ago, we had the privilege of being a part of Guestlands, a truly unique Tuscan-inspired home tucked away in the Hills District.

Cobblestone pathways, recycled oak, stone, exposed timbers and even its own little bar and shopfront. Every corner feels like it has a story to tell.

Still one of the most memorable projects we’ve had the pleasure of being a part of.

Some homes just get better with age. 🙌

Project North View | First Floor Addition ☺️

Some homes don’t need replacing. They just need room to grow.

North View began as a modest 1970s single-level, 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom brick home in Beecroft. As our clients’ young family grew into their teenage years, it became clear they needed more space without leaving the neighbourhood they loved.

Working closely with the family, we transformed the home with a thoughtfully designed first-floor addition and a complete ground-floor renovation.

The result includes:

• A private master wing with ensuite and generous walk-in wardrobe
• Two spacious children’s bedrooms
• A family bathroom with an oversized shower, freestanding bath and double vanity
• A light-filled open plan kitchen, living and dining area with views to both the front and rear gardens
• A dedicated home office for mum and dad
• A separate rumpus room for the kids
• A guest bedroom and adjoining bathroom for visiting grandparents
• A custom American Oak staircase connecting the old and new
• An extended alfresco designed for year-round entertaining
The transformation turned a 3-bedroom home into a spacious
6-bedroom, 4-bathroom family residence, perfectly tailored for the next chapter of our clients’ lives.

Build Time: 9 months

Every project is more than an extension. It’s about creating a home that evolves with the people who live in it.

Proudly presenting our latest completed home: | Rye-Villa | Pt1 (Swipe ➡️)

A complete renovation and first-floor addition, designed to honour the home’s original character while introducing a new level of space, performance, and modern living.

The new first floor creates loft-style bedrooms that form private retreats, while the existing home has been reimagined for flow, light, and functionality.

Materiality and craftsmanship define the interiors. Herringbone tiled bathrooms, European oak flooring throughout, including the stairwell and handrail, custom timber walk-in robes, and New Zealand wool carpet in all bedrooms.

The streetscape façade has been carefully restored in line with conservation requirements, with repointed brickwork, timber trims, and tessellated tiling, ensuring the original character and craftsmanship of the home is retained and respected.

• Custom study with full joinery
• Limestone alfresco with automated opening roof
• Seamless connection to pool
• A private underground cellar is accessed via a Witches’ tread staircase, a smart and space-saving solution.
