These sandstone steps had already caused a serious fall. Here’s how we tackled the problem. 👇

Protruding sandstone risers had created a trip hazard—and our client had tripped and broken his leg.

Using a hammer, bolster and jackhammer, we carefully chipped back the protruding stone to reshape the risers and address the hazard.

Then came the transformation. 💪

Our unique mould cleaning system lifted built-up mould and organic growth from the sandstone, retaining walls, travertine floors and sandstone stepping pavers. We finished by sealing the surfaces for added protection.

Cleaner stone. Freshly sealed surfaces. Steps with the protruding risers corrected.

ZERO DUST. RIGHT IN THE HEART OF SYDNEY C*D. 😳

This sandstone grinding project was definitely not your average job.

📍 George Street × Bond Street, Sydney C*D

🚗 Heavy traffic & constant pedestrian movement

And the biggest challenge?

A ZERO-DUST POLICY. 🚫💨

Sandstone grinding naturally creates dust, so working in such a busy C*D environment required serious planning, control and the right equipment.

But we managed it.

Controlled grinding. Zero dust. Professional result. 💪

This is where experience really matters.

This sandstone wasn’t just covered in mould… it was falling apart. 😳

At first glance, you might think this was simply a mould-cleaning job.

It wasn’t.

The sandstone had severe mould growth AND significant salt-related deterioration, causing the surface to fret and break down.

The salt attack had progressed so badly that a normal clean simply wasn’t going to restore the stone.

That’s why we had to take it further.

🛡️ Finished with a penetrating consolidating sealer to help stabilise and protect the sandstone
