While much of the industry has been winding down, our team has been powering on.

We are proud to be delivering the Australian Government's Medicare Urgent Care Clinics across Australia, projects that matter when communities need them most.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese visited the Marrickville Urgent Care Clinic, one of the facilities we have completed in the Inner West of Sydney. It was a strong reminder of why this work matters.

The best projects are the ones that continue serving people long after we handover.

That is why we put everything into these builds. Craft, care, compliance, and delivery done properly. Because healthcare infrastructure is not just another project. It is a legacy.

We learned quickly: school doesn’t stop just because you’ve got scaffolding up.

The brief? Take a tired, worn out admin building, smack in the middle of a bustling school full of curious students, staff, and visitors and give it the renovation of its life.

We gave that old admin space a full reboot, added a new public foyer, modern clerical and print rooms, a designated sick bay, and even extended the footprint for better flow.

We also tackled the structural nitty-gritty: redesigned footings for awning support, installed a steel awning for weather protection, and made sure there were DDA-compliant ramps for wheelchair and pram access. The key? Communication and keeping things demarcated, safe and surprisingly calm.

Now? It’s a show stopper admin building that actually serves the school community instead of hiding in the background. 350 m² that hums with function. It’s punchy, it’s modern, and it’s built to last.

Not every project kicks off feeling glamorous with shovels ready and hard hats on. This one kicked off with a whole lot of “how are we even going to do this in the middle of a pandemic?”

Picture a medical centre that still needed to serve patients every day, even mid renovation. And then throw in pandemic lockdowns, interstate restrictions, safety protocols, supply shortages, the works. Brilliant. But somehow, we managed to refurbish the whole place without disrupting a single appointment. Live environment? Check. Discreet, clinical action? Double check.

The magic? We leaned into flexibility over perfection. Rooms got repurposed, that old dental suite? Now it’s a slick occupational health consult. Every corner got a modern update, but the clinic stayed open for business the whole time. That’s not just construction, it’s kind of a cooperative dance with real human schedules and patience.

Not every project starts glamorous. This one started with a whole lot of… potential. Fast forward six weeks and it’s now Jill & Jack’s Daily, a fresh food and coffee spot that actually feels fresh. Big windows, natural light, old columns brought back to life. It’s wild what you can pull off with the right mix of vision, problem solving, and caffeine.

Of course, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. We kicked things off with a tight budget and then demo day revealed surprise plumbing and drainage issues. Classic. Instead of panicking, the team jumped straight into action. Sleeves rolled up, drainage in ground, compliance ticked, and suddenly the “oh no” moment became a “this is going to be good” moment.

Now it’s a flagship store that feels like the best of both worlds, old bones, modern fitout, and a vibe that makes you want to start your day there. Honestly, these adaptive rebuilds are the fun ones. Messy, full of surprises, but ridiculously satisfying when it all comes together.

We didn’t just build a drive-thru for in Casula. We turned a corner tenancy into 350 m² of Mexican-flavour vibes both inside and out. And we did it all in just 77 days.

We extended the building, carved out dining space, amenities, BOH kitchen, service counter and even a proper drive-thru (super handy when you’re craving morning, lunch or evening burritos in traffic).

Then, inside, it’s all about soul: lush foliage, rustic timber and steel, brick feature walls, Talavera tiles, engineered stone countertops and clever decorative lighting. It doesn’t feel “fast foody”- it feels right, warm and breathing a weird kind of Mexican home-grown-ness.

We wanted Carlton Medical & Urgent Care Centre to feel less like “just another clinic” and more like a place that actually welcomes you.

The reception desk is one of our favourites, built from warm, wood grain panels with a white accent strip which breaks up the texture just enough to keep it from feeling heavy. The shape is functional and welcoming, with multiple workstations positioned in a U-shaped layout so staff can face both the entry and each other.

We also built out GP consult rooms, pathology zones, treatment areas with two procedure rooms, a Steri room, and rapid triage flow-like systems… while keeping everything moving so no one blinked twice.

Ever walked into a clinic and thought, “Hey, this actually works”? That was the vibe here. Moody lighting? Nope. Flashy? Nah. But efficient, thoughtful, and actually helpful? Yeah, we got that.

We wanted our client’s new head office in Leichhardt to feel less like “just an office” and more like somewhere you’d happily spend time. 820m², seven weeks, and a design that quietly encourages people to slow down and focus.

We layered in soft colours and gentle lighting to make the place feel calm without being boring, like having a coffee in your own kitchen at home. Beautiful timbers incorporated throughout, the kitchen’s a natural gathering spot, and the meeting rooms actually work for hybrid calls (rare, right?).

The result? A workplace that doesn’t just look nice in photos, it makes the day feel lighter. Subtle design choices that help people focus, connect, and maybe enjoy being at the office a little more than they’d admit.

Darlinghurst Medical Centre wasn’t about making it look like the set of a sci-fi movie. It was about subtle changes that actually make the space feel better to be in.

We refreshed the reception and waiting areas with more natural light and artwork that doesn’t scream “hospital beige.” The consultation rooms got new furniture (comfortable but practical) and upgrades behind the scenes so clinicians can do their thing more efficiently. Even the IVF clinic was carefully updated without missing a beat, thanks to some very careful planning.

And because we were working in a live environment, we kept the dust, noise and general chaos locked down. The idea was to improve the space without disrupting daily life, and that’s exactly how it played out. It’s not flashy. But it’s calmer, more functional, and just a nicer place for patients and staff to be.

Ever tried building an entire medical centre in the middle of a busy shopping centre… without annoying everyone around you? That was Deer Park Medical Centre.

We took an empty retail tenancy inside Brimbank Shopping Centre in Victoria and turned it into a full-blown medical centre. Four staged phases, which resulted in consult rooms, reception, staff spaces, the whole deal.

‘s newly upgraded staff areas and laboratory facilities were delivered with zero disruption to daily school operations, thanks to our carefully managed renovation approach.

The project introduced state-of-the-art laboratories, upgraded equipment, and enhanced staff amenities - all wrapped in a fresh, modern aesthetic. Works also included restoration of floors, ceilings, and linings to elevate the overall environment.

With after-hours scheduling for noisy tasks and strict daily cleaning protocols, we maintained a calm, dust-free space throughout. This resulted in a transformed facility that has boosted student morale, improved workflow, and reinforced our expertise in complex educational refurbishments.
