We are Level 1,2,3,4 Authorised Service Providers for Ausgrid for disconnection/reconnection of point of attachment, underground mains, aerial mains and metering. Good Day is qualified in Home Automation, Security Systems, Data Communications, Telephony, Access Control, Solar Energy, Air Conditioning and all aspects of energy efficient lighting solutions. We carry out residential and commercial work for private residences and commercial premises such as churches, government buildings, schools, businesses and shops.

Part-time Administration Assistant
Approx. 24 hours per week (Thu, Fri essential)

We’re looking for a proactive and organised administration professional to support our existing team and help keep the day-to-day running of our busy electrical business on track. This is a varied, hands-on role that assists across every part of the business, from helping keep our people and fleet moving to supporting our customers, suppliers, contractors, and office staff.

About the role
No two days look the same. Working alongside our established office team, you’ll assist with day-to-day administration that keeps the business running smoothly, handling inbound and outbound calls, supporting our finance and supplier functions, coordinating staff needs such as travel and uniforms, and assisting with record-keeping, systems, and petty cash.

You’ll also assist with job scheduling, helping the team book in jobs, coordinate our tradespersons’ workloads, and ensure smooth communication between field staff and the office.

You’ll contribute to several recurring coordination tasks, including fleet administration and follow up calls.

What we’re looking for

We are currently seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our growing Solar Team in a medium-sized Electrical, Solar and Air Conditioning business based in Ingleside on the Northern Beaches.

This is a great opportunity to learn from experienced tradespeople and gain hands-on experience across all aspects of electrical and solar work in a supportive team environment.

About the Role:
• Installation and maintenance of solar systems and electrical equipment
• Working on rooftops and at heights
• Physical, hands-on work in outdoor environments
• On-the-job training with excellent learning opportunities

This role can be physically demanding and involves working at heights, so a good level of fitness and confidence in these environments is essential.

About You:
As the successful applicant, you will have:
