Central West Bridge. The final pours.

The last stretch of any project is where it all comes together. Our crew worked through the final concrete pours and deck finishes, screeding, floating and finishing every section by hand to get a clean, solid result across the entire span.

After months of formwork, reinforcement and pours over water, watching the last sections come together is a real milestone. It's the kind of detailed, hands-on work that doesn't always make headlines, but it's exactly what holds a bridge together for the long run.

Central West Bridge. Project complete.

From the very first pour to the final deck section, our team has delivered Central West Bridge from the ground up. Reinforcement cages tied by hand, formwork built to precise tolerances, and countless concrete pours across a live waterway, all coming together to build a structure that's going to serve this community for decades to come.

Projects like this test a team's coordination, patience and technical skill at every stage.

Seeing it through from Stage 1 to completion is something the whole crew should be proud of.

Central West Bridge, Stage 2. Getting the pour right.

A concrete pour looks simple from the outside, but there's a lot riding on it. Once the pump starts, there's no stopping and no redoing it. The crew has to keep the concrete moving evenly across the deck, working it into every corner of the formwork before it starts to set, all while keeping a level, consistent finish across the entire span.

Add in the fact that this pour is happening directly over water, and the margin for error gets even tighter. Timing, teamwork and total focus are what get a pour like this done properly.

It's a job that takes real skill, and it's a big part of what goes into building a bridge that's going to stand the test of time.
