Alland Group partnered with Shape to bring the new Sky News Australia studios in Surry Hills to life — creating a high-performance broadcast and workplace environment in the heart of Sydney.

This technically complex fit-out included state-of-the-art production studios, technical control rooms, modern office spaces, meeting rooms, breakout areas and fully equipped kitchenettes — all powered by a comprehensive electrical infrastructure delivered by our team. From 24/7 UPS-backed systems and advanced RGBW LED studio lighting, to power, AV infrastructure, MATV/RF systems, structured communications cabling and energy monitoring, every detail was designed to support a fast-paced broadcast environment.

Projects like this showcase Alland Group’s ability to deliver complex electrical solutions, coordinate across multiple trades, and build reliable, future-ready infrastructure for high-performance commercial spaces.

Alland Group recently partnered with Mainbrace to deliver a complete Design & Construct electrical solution for the new Ampol Eastern Creek M4 Twin Service Centres.
The project involved delivering two new service centres while maintaining uninterrupted operations throughout construction. Our scope encompassed the end-to-end installation of electrical, lighting, communications, and security infrastructure pathways.
Key highlights included the installation of four new 1500 kVA Substations, four 2500a Main Switchboards, and multiple distribution boards.
The project also incorporated two 99.6 kW rooftop PV systems with 100 kW battery storage, supporting enhanced energy efficiency and sustainability outcomes. EV fast-charging infrastructure, smart lighting, and pathways for fully integrated communications and security system infrastructure were also delivered.
Delivered under a demanding staged program, this project required smart planning, innovative solutions, and the expertise of our skilled electrical technicians. A big thank you to our site crew and the teams at Ampol and Mainbrace for their collaboration—together, we delivered the project safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Shoutout to Marc, our School-based Apprenticeship and Traineeships (SBAT) Program Apprentice!👷‍♂️⚡
Marc comes in one day a week as part of his SBAT program, and even in limited hours, he’s already making a real impact.
Quiet but focused, Marc consistently gets the job done, showing a strong commitment to doing things safely and correctly. His dedication to learning and picking up new skills, even in a short time on site, demonstrates his potential as he builds his trade experience.
We’re proud to have Marc on the team and look forward to seeing him continue to grow and make a difference—one job at a time. 💪

Introducing Jake, our new 1st-year Electrical Apprentice.
Jake has already started making a strong impression at Alland Group.
He’s impressed the team with his positive attitude, strong work ethic, and consistent focus on doing things the right way. From the start, he’s shown a real awareness of workplace safety, always looking out for both his own wellbeing and that of those around him.
Jake is keen to learn, eager to take on new challenges, and fully embracing life as an apprentice—making the most of every opportunity to grow his skills.
We’re excited to watch Jake build his expertise, take on new responsibilities, and make a meaningful contribution to every project he’s part of. 💪⚡

Introducing Isaac, our new 1st-year Electrical Apprentice.
It’s been just one month since Isaac joined Alland Group as a 1st-year electrical apprentice, and he’s already making his mark!
Isaac has impressed us with his dedication, arriving consistently in full PPE and showing a strong focus on workplace safety. His attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and positive attitude really stand out.
What’s even better is hearing from Isaac himself how much he’s enjoying his apprenticeship so far—embracing new challenges, learning from our experienced team, and really getting stuck into the trade.
We’re proud to support the next generation of talent and can’t wait to see Isaac continue to grow, develop his skills, and make an impact on every project. 💪

A big shoutout to Cooper, who has officially levelled up and earned his electrical licence! 🔧👏
Cooper joined Alland straight out of school, stepping into the trade with plenty to learn — but from the start he brought curiosity, determination, and a solid work ethic. Things really took off when he discovered comms, where everything clicked and his confidence and capability skyrocketed.
Comms might be where he shines, but it’s far from his only strength. Cooper has grown into a well-rounded young tradesman — reliable, switched-on, and someone the team can always count on. His attitude on site and willingness to learn have shaped him into the tradie he is today.
We’re incredibly proud of your progress and achievements.
Congratulations on your licence, Cooper — a milestone well deserved! 👏

Safety shapes everything we do at Alland Group. In the final week of National Safe Work Month, we are looking closely at the controls we rely on every day to protect our people. This focus supports the 2025 Safe Work Australia theme: “Safety: every job, every day.”

Week 4: Reviewing Controls
Safety measures at Alland Group are monitored to ensure they remain effective and relevant. Reviews occur when work conditions shift, new hazards arise, or feedback highlights better ways of working.

Continuous improvement keeps our controls performing well and supports safe operations across every site. By staying alert to change and committed to enhancement, we strengthen our culture of care and accountability.
