The Bankstown RSL Reveal.

From the scale of the sports bar and those ENORMOUS screens, through to the finishes, lighting and detailing, every element has been brought together to create a space designed for people to gather, connect and enjoy.

Following the official launch last Saturday, The Glass House, is quickly becoming a favourite amongst locals. We know this space will be a valued addition to the club for many years to come.

🏗️ Project Complete | Bankstown RSL – Stage One
We're proud to announce the completion of Stage One of the Bankstown RSL Master Plan.
This stage has transformed an underutilised area of the club into a vibrant new sports bar destination, featuring:
• Five large LED screens and two outdoor TVs
• A central bar with multiple TV viewing angles
• Brand-new male, female and accessible amenities
• An upgraded commercial kitchen to service the sports bar area
• A striking new bar with LED TV's, bespoke fit out including "on tap" Systems, and designated Point of Sale service area.
• A modified ceiling with feature steelwork and a custom canopy.
• Clever integration of the existing building structure to deliver a modern, high-quality finish.
* New Carpet, wall cladding, feature lighting and fit for purpose furniture to top it off.

With Stage Two set to commence later this year, the transformation will continue to create even more versatile spaces for members and guests.

A little while back, we poured the ground floor slab at the Austral Tavern project.
On pour day, it's far more than just placing concrete.

With 18 contractors on site, every trade, delivery and movement had to be carefully planned and coordinated. From traffic management and safety to sequencing works and keeping the programme on track, commercial construction is all about precision, communication and teamwork.

Another major milestone reached at the Austral Tavern project.

Ground Floor Slab Pour is complete, with the suspended slab now in place above the basement car park.

Commercial construction is all about planning, coordination and communication—from managing trades and deliveries to site safety, sequencing works and maintaining momentum across every stage of the build. The ex*****on is the easy part when the planning has been done right.

This precast concrete tank system has been carefully designed and installed piece by piece, creating an efficient solution for the storm water control.

Using precast systems like this allows for faster installation on site, improved coordination and reduced delays — all while maintaining the structural integrity required for projects of this scale.

What does work on site look like at the moment?
Right now, it’s all about the lift. Precast panels are going into place, cranes are moving, and the project is really starting to take shape.
This is one of those stages we love in construction — when months of planning, engineering and groundwork suddenly start turning into something tangible. Each panel lifted into place brings a new realisation of the scale, design and vision behind the project.
You start to really see the plans coming to life.
A huge effort from everyone on site to make these complex stages run smoothly and safely. Plenty happening behind the scenes, but this is where the excitement starts to build.
