Photo dump during our routine maintenance—these seem to be settling in nicely at the new place. These are the smaller plants we keep in the grow tent. Most of our other nepenthes are still at the old greenhouse 😆

We hope everyone’s been doing well! We’ve been a bit quiet lately as we’ve been busy moving house.

Today, we’d love to share some photos of Nepenthes naga with you — a species we don’t often see here in Australia. Hope you enjoy!

Nepenthes naga is a species native to the Barisan Range of Indonesia. It shares many similarities with Nepenthes bongso, but can be distinguished by its leaf shape and a striking sub-apical appendage on the underside of the lid. This structure resembles a dragon’s tongue, which inspired the name “naga,” meaning “dragon” in Bahasa Indonesia.

WE’RE BACK !!! 🌿✈️

After a month of recharging our batteries on holiday, the greenhouse is buzzing and we are officially BACK IN ACTION. We couldn’t think of a better way to say "Hello again" than with a massive Nepenthes Release!
