We’re thrilled to share that the Smeg Australia Sydney Experience Centre has been shortlisted in this year’s Interior Design Excellence Awards, in the Retail category. The Smeg Experience Centre brings the product range to life inside a heritage wool store. Each range is presented as a fully realised kitchen setting, centred on a demonstration kitchen. A design studio, pop-up zone and commitment to sustainability through adaptive reuse complete this immersive space where Smeg lives.

Choosing the right stone is about more than selecting a sample. Every slab is unique, with its own colour, veining and character. Viewing each slab in person ensures the perfect match for the design and helps create a truly considered and bespoke result. Today we are in search for the perfect slab of ocean blue travertine.. and have found some other beautiful stones along the way.

The best retail environments don’t just display a product, they tell you everything you need to know about a brand before you’ve even walked through the door.

The shopfront detailing at the new M.J. Bale Chatswood store does exactly that. Every element of the facade speaks to the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship, heritage and timeless quality, the same values woven into every suit they make.

This is what we love most about retail design. When the physical environment becomes an extension of the brand story, the customer experience starts long before the sale.
