Our Smeg Australia Sydney experience centre just won Gold at the BETTER FUTURE Awards Sydney Design Awards in the interior design- flagship and showroom category, and it’s a project we are genuinely proud of!

Before any material was chosen, we mapped the customer journey and benchmarked against leading global showrooms. Good retail design should look beautiful and work hard commercially, guiding customers and building the brand and hi-lighting products to inspire customers at the same time.

Sustainability was built in too, including up-cycled de-fit materials and recycled packaging made into furniture and artwork.

We’re thrilled to share that the Smeg Australia Sydney Experience Centre has been shortlisted in this year’s Interior Design Excellence Awards, in the Retail category. The Smeg Experience Centre brings the product range to life inside a heritage wool store. Each range is presented as a fully realised kitchen setting, centred on a demonstration kitchen. A design studio, pop-up zone and commitment to sustainability through adaptive reuse complete this immersive space where Smeg lives.
