Our Column Climber system has been assembled on site at Meriton Cypress Palms on the Gold Coast and has now completed several successful climbs - delivering the precision formwork solution this landmark high-rise demands as it continues its climb skyward.

Proud to be working alongside our client Formcom and developer Meriton to construct one of Queensland’s tallest towers.

When a long-span steel girder truss needs support during installation, the engineering behind the temporary works matters just as much as the permanent structure.

For the construction of a new movie studio facility in South East Queensland, Acrow designed and supplied a temporary propping solution using our Powershore 60 tower system, with each primary vertical leg delivering up to 60 tonnes safe working load capacity while remaining compact enough for manual assembly.

The result: a safe, efficient temporary support system that allowed the building contractor to get the steelwork up quickly and confidently.

A great outcome delivered in partnership with our client Torque It Up Rigging and Principal Contractor Prekaro Projects.

Operations Manager, South Australia

Acrow welcomes Danny Wadsworth, joining the Adelaide branch as Operations Manager - leading our Adelaide Jumpform yard, specialised systems and Formwork and scaffold operations.

Danny brings 25+ years in high-risk operational environments, including 22 years in the Royal Australian Air Force, finishing as Wing Safety Manager for 92 Wing. His career spanned aircraft systems, international deployments, and after the Air Force, aviation and facilities leadership roles at Roy Hill and BHP.

Pink jerseys, big smiles, and an unbeaten run on the field - Acrow Geebung came out swinging at the recent 𝙈𝘼𝙏𝙀𝙎 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 touch football event, taking out every game on the day.

But the real win was the conversation behind it. 𝙈𝘼𝙏𝙀𝙎 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 works to reduce the high rates of su***de and mental health issues in the building and construction industry, and construction workers in Australia are more than twice as likely to die by su***de than the general population, which is exactly why days like this matter.
