I want to share a project we’ve been working on behind the scenes at CBI Construction: Miles for Tradie Mental Health.

As a builder, director, and father, I know the pressure on site is real. In Australia, we lose over 200 tradies to su***de every year—a worker in construction is 6x more likely to die from su***de than a site accident. That’s why I took our industry’s high-vis shirt from the job site to the pavement.

Last weekend at the Sydney Marathon, I put down a 3:03 time in full TradeMutt x TIACS high-vis to make a statement: we’re competing at the sharp end to get the country talking. Alongside my mate and Crew Chief Karol Krygowski, we’re taking M4TMH to the US for the Tahoe 200 (a 322km ultra) to raise $50,000 for TIACS (This Is A Conversation Starter). We are currently advancing on this architectural build in Newport. When our clients present a distinct aesthetic vision, our job is to bring it to life with flawless ex*****on and zero compromise on quality.

These custom bathrooms replace the standard neutral palette with highly personalized, striking details. From the vibrant pink flamingo wallpaper to the bold line-art powder room featuring a custom neon sign, and the moody deep blue finishes, this unique home is designed to stand out.

We recently handed over the keys to this complete renovation on Glassop Street, Balmain.

Terraces are notorious for being narrow and starved of natural light, but our team loves a structural challenge. Rather than fighting the existing footprint, our team focused on maximizing natural light, improving the flow of the floorplan, and delivering clean, bespoke finishes throughout.

It is a great example of how a well-planned renovation can completely elevate a home.

From the Northern Beaches to the Inner West! 🌊 ✈️

We recently crossed the bridge to hand over the keys to this stunning architectural renovation in Balmain, and we couldn’t be prouder of how the details came together.

Our team focused heavily on maximizing space and warmth using custom timber joinery throughout. A few of our favorite elements:
✨ A seamless under-stairs study nook featuring a clean, minimalist slatted balustrade.
✨ A sun-drenched master bedroom complete with a custom timber window bench and privacy louvres.
✨ Bespoke built-in wardrobes that blend perfectly into the room's design.
