We’re excited to announce that Castec is now part of Ace Civil, bringing a proven shoring system into our broader civil capability.

Our latest project together in Manly puts that history on display, with a Castec Wall installed 30 years ago uncovered alongside the new system being installed today.

The new wall forms part of the shoring works supporting the approximately 180-year-old heritage-listed Steyne Hotel.

A redevelopment is taking shape to the in Dubbo which includes a significant extension to the ALDI Australia store.

The redevelopment aims to provide a better shopping experience, greater variety, and more convenience for the Dubbo community.

Thanks again to David Payne as we’re using screw piles to streamline footing installation and minimise site disturbance.

Instead of large and disruptive excavations near existing 750mm stormwater and 150mm sewer services (which run up to 3.4m deep), screw piling allows us to transfer building loads efficiently below the services—with far less impact.

This approach eliminates the need for heavy excavation support to protect pipes, bedding, and backfill, while also reducing risk, saving time, and keeping the footprint of works to a minimum.

It’s a faster, safer, and smarter solution for complex ground conditions. Piles up to 100t to 12m deep.
