Quantity takeoff is the process of measuring and quantifying the materials and components shown in project documentation.

Modern digital tools can help quantity surveyors:

• Measure directly from digital drawings
• Quantify materials faster
• Reduce manual measurement
• Improve consistency
• Update quantities as designs change

But software is only part of the equation.
