Lighting circuit IR fail 🚫

We initially went to site to replace all light fittings with new downlights in each room.

When conducting our dead testing on the circuit, it was found that the lighting circuit had failed its insulation resistance test.

As you can see, there were bare conductors exposed all throughout the site which is a major fire hazard and safety risk to those in the house. 🔥

In order to ensure the safety of our clients and to comply with the Australian standards, we replaced all cabling for the lighting circuit leaving everyone with peace of mind, and allowed us to complete our downlight installation. ✅

Our client had asked us to install a weather proof GPO dedicated for a motorised roller door.

We advised our client that it may be in their best interest to install a dedicated circuit for this GPO.

By doing so, we are ensuring there is no loss of power to our client’s house in the event of any nuisance tripping which may be caused by the motor, or tripping caused by outdoor elements ⛈

Transformed our client’s old bathroom to include a stylish back-lit mirror as well as an IXL recessed 3 in 1 bathroom heater, exhaust fan and light. We also ran a new power point for the pump in the spa bath.
