In Beverly Hills, the two-storey, four-bedroom dwelling hinges around a central courtyard/light well that serves multiple functions at once. It’s a private outdoor space that brings natural light and air into the plan, and an organising axis for internal circulation and stairwells, that maximises precious floorspace. ⁠⁠⁠⁠

A new dwelling where a generous visual and physical connection to the greater suburban block is the imperative. Whilst the form follows an orthogonal plan, a subtle curved concrete awning signifies the entry to the dwelling and introduces a softness to the entrance
