𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃 | 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝟏 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐚

We have partnered with Sydney Catholic Schools, and they've trusted us with a big one.

Underground, this project runs deep and is complex. We'll be commencing with hundreds of metres of inground trenching for new services infrastructure, plus a substation upgrade that will need a full day shutdown (you know we love shutdown ).

Building D is next in line for a complete strip out and fitout. What's currently the library will become the new base for admin staff. We're not holding back above ground either with 65 piles, two sets of concrete stairs and two access ramps going in. This is all engineered around the site's protected scribbly gum tree (a lot easier said than done).

This is Phase 1 of a much bigger plan for the school and we're stoked to be the ones kicking it off! We are working with a strong team, Giorgia Drudi Howard from Sydney Catholic Schools, Mikaela Heidrich from Currie & Brown, plus Woods Bagot, JHA Consulting Engineers & ADP Consulting, and Urbis Australia | Cistri Singapore 𝘈𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘞𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘴 𝘉𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘵.

This project feels fitting off the back of Dominique Gill's recent talk to 250 students at Southern Cross Catholic College. It's a reminder that the relationships we build in education are building its future workforce too.

BROOKI's pink is unmistakable. Delivering our recent project at Broadbeach, QLD meant getting the finish as sharp as the branding demands. There's nowhere to hide with a colour like that (in the best way). 🩷

So when the cookie boxes made their way to the Urban Core offices including NSW, the team knew exactly what they were looking at before opening the lid. Several hundred kilometres from site, and we couldn't be happier (they didn't stand a chance against this office)!

𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢

I'm sure many of you have heard of the viral BROOKI. When it came to creating another location, we wanted in (and a taste of what everyone's talking about). 🍪

It’s so nice to finally share what our QLD team has been up to, we’ve been holding this secret in since the project was awarded. Brooki’s first of several flagship stores to come.

We gave a blank tenancy the full Brooki treatment, iconic pink and vibrant branding. This complete fitout involved extensive services upgrades, including new in-slab hydraulic services and ceiling modifications, carefully sequenced so tiling could keep moving.

We installed bespoke joinery throughout, laid custom stonework in premium marble across the front service area and main baking zone. Glazed the partitions so customers can keep watching the work happen (not just on a feed), all behind a shopfront that’s hard to miss. 🩷

A compressed programme and late-stage design changes meant the QLD team had to think fast and stay flexible. Watching everyone pull together and successfully hand over a high-quality outcome like this is a special kind of satisfying.

Hats off to our QLD team Lauren King, Rodney Kemp, David Bright, Grace Sancataldo & Peter Hunt. And a big thanks to the team at Beyond Bayside Project Management Project Management and CLUI DESIGN. Now go get yourself a cookie!

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃 | 𝐍𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞, 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚!

Our VIC team is proud to be delivering an expansion of the gymnasium facilities, so you guessed it... we are back in a live education space. This project will consist of staged works while the school keeps running and while we continue to do what we 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞.

Working alongside Cotter Reid Architects and the broader consultant team, there's plenty to juggle. From controlled access and detailed site separation through to programmed high-impact works and ongoing check-ins with the college team, strong communication is what holds it all together.

There's also a lot happening within the existing building footprint with architectural, structural and building services all coming together in the space. And because the doors stay open throughout, being reactive just doesn't cut it. Close attention and constant review are built into every step of delivery.

Knowing that this will support the college's growing student and sporting community makes this one special.

And hey, if any of Nazareth's students are watching... construction's not a bad career path. 😉

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐮𝐩 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐨𝐦 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 🤩

This morning we got to watch it happen again, cheering on our leader, Dominique Gill, at the inaugural Female Leadership in Apartment Management Excellence (FLAME) Event in Martin Place.

We love watching Dom speak, the same Dom on a panel as the one we see in the office and on site. She brings her whole self to it. And every time (and there have been a lot of times) she finds a fresh story to tell. This morning it was the idea that in a world racing toward AI, our emotions are the 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫.

She also came back to one of our values, 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐞. Quoting author Ryan Holiday, she described every setback as a gift you have to unwrap, the learning is always sitting there in the middle.

We never get sick of hearing how she looked at an industry with few women on site and decided something had to change. Proud of you Dom, we 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 supporting you.

Throwback to our QLD team visiting iFab Steel's factory to inspect this beast of a curved stair for our luxury retail project in Brisbane’s CBD.

Standing in the factory and seeing something this complex come together is a reminder of why we love what we do.

It's been a fantastic collaboration with the team at iFAB, seeing the level of engineering, craftsmanship and precision that goes into bringing a feature like this to life never gets old.

Fast forward and this beauty is already standing on site and we can't wait to share the finished project with you.

Our mission has officially landed on the big screen in Martin Place and we couldn’t be prouder. During VIVID no less so roughly 2M passers-by likely to see it (no big deal) 😆

It all started when our hoarding on 20 Martin Place caught the eye of the organisers. They looked us up, instantly loved what we stand for and asked if we’d like to put our mission statement up on their giant screen. We thought about it for about 2 milliseconds and here we are…

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞-𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲, one giant screen at a time.

Seeing that message up in lights, right next door to where our team is hard at work feels pretty special.
Seeing our people make their big-screen debut? That’s the icing on the slab. 😉

I love that it was our purpose that got us there, not the big flashy projects or the turnover. Proof that when you stand for something meaningful, people notice and when it matters, they want to be a part of it.

And we are back at Martin Place! There’s something quite satisfying about seeing our branding go up in such an iconic location (working here is alright too 😉 )
