Take back your property: professional care that turns tough Sunshine Coast terrain into pristine landscape

Business Feature: Epic Mowing

The Sunshine Coast landscape features everything from steep terrain, to thick scrub, to large rural properties, and the team at Epic Mowing has the experience and equipment to handle them all.

“We specialise in large acreage properties, steep slopes, and tough terrain that standard mowers can’t handle,” said owner, Greg Wood. “We are equipped with industrial-grade slashers and precision mowers, and can turn overgrown scrub into beautifully manicured turf,” he said.

New Zealand born Greg first qualified with a Trade Certificate in Amenity Horticulture before completing a Diploma in Horticultural Management at Lincoln University in NZ.

“My career later took a very different direction as an international airline pilot for more than 25 years, but my passion for horticulture never disappeared,” he said.

What started as a quiet semi-retirement plan has quickly grown into a portfolio of more than 120 regular clients.

“The growth of the business has come from a straightforward approach: professional workmanship, clear communication, competitive pricing and old-fashioned reliability.”

Supported by commercial-grade S**G, Razorback and Stihl equipment, Epic Mowing specialises in acreage mowing on challenging terrain, garden and lawn care for large residential properties and lawn maintenance and w**d control for commercial sites.

“We are dedicated to delivering exceptional craftsmanship, rock-solid reliability, and competitive pricing on every job,” said Greg.

“As we get to know each client’s property, we tend to find that we get faster and are able to add value in other places, with general trimming or garden tidying. The horticultural background certainly helps with this.”

From full lawn transformations to ongoing maintenance solutions, Epic Mowing can take care of it all.

“Every customer deserves a professional service and a positive outcome. I take pride in looking after each property as if it were my own.”
