Most people take annual leave to relax.

The bossman apparently misunderstood the assignment. 😂🏔️

Today Andy started his trek towards Annapurna in Nepal, swapping switchboards and phone calls for hiking boots, mountain trails, cold showers and some seriously thin air.

For the next few weeks, phone reception will be questionable and replying to emails even more so. 😂📵

So if you’re trying to reach him… good luck.

The Excite crew will be holding down the fort while the boss tackles the Himalayas.

Stay safe, boss, enjoy every minute and remember, reaching the top is optional… getting back to work is not. 😂⚡️🏔️

A little toolbox catch-up this week 👷‍♂️🔥

A big thanks to Brodie from Matelec for dropping in to chat with the team about their smoke alarm range as we gear up for the final few months before the 1 January 2027 deadline.

From 1 January, all Queensland homes, including owner-occupied properties, will need to have interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms installed and compliant.

We’re stocked up, the team’s across it, and we’re ready for the inevitable last-minute rush! 😅
