Lets all add to the voice saying NO to deforestation
Did you know Queensland is the deforestation capital of Australia?
Every year, hundreds of thousands of hectares of trees are bulldozed — worsening the climate crisis, pushing endangered species like koalas and greater gliders towards extinction, and causing erosion and pollution that smother our Reef’s coral and seagrass.
But right now, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to turn the tide. The Federal Government is reforming Australia’s national environment laws this month — and we need to make sure they include strong protections to end deforestation once and for all.
That’s why CAFNEC and AMCS are joining forces for a snap campaign to stop deforestation and save our Reef and wildlife.
