Level 1 of The Angel of Malvern is home to Flores, a warm and intimate Mediterranean inspired restaurant and w**e bar, where this stunning custom sommelier station now sits within the space.
Finished in honed granite, the station has been carefully fitted with everything required for a seamless w**e service experience, from sinks and tapware to soft-close storage and concealed fixtures.
Framed by soft drapery, sculptural pendant lighting and expansive windows that flood the space with natural light, the station becomes part of the wider design rather than merely a functional element.
A lot of work was poured into this space so come down, enjoy a glass and check it out for yourself.

We first partnered with the team at Vic’s to deliver this private dining space through our in house design and construct service, transforming the venue with a fresh new look.
It’s great to be back working with the team again, with another exciting project underway.
Any guesses what we’re working on ?

The best joinery doesn’t just serve a purpose, it enhances the space around it.
This custom bottle display was handcrafted by the Directitude joinery team and finished with elegant brass mesh allowing the display to feel light, refined and effortlessly integrated into the surrounding design.

Directitude has landed in Perth.

With a new office on St Georges Terrace, we’re bringing the work we’ve become known for across Melbourne C*D’s hospitality precinct to the west coast.

Perth isn’t completely new territory for us. In the early days of Directitude, we delivered project management services across some of Perth’s iconic venues.

Today, we’re returning with something much bigger, our own office, our own people on the ground and the capability to bring the approach to construction that we’ve become known for across Melbourne’s hospitality scene some 3,500 kilometres from our headquarters.

And what better way to kick off this next chapter than with a project like The Parkerville Tavern . We’re giving this historic pub a refresh, with a new pavilion, a new b**r garden deck and internal and external upgrades. Bringing a distinctly Directitude approach to a venue with plenty of history and character.

What started locally is now growing nationally. Projects like the Ball Court Hotel has helped shape Directitude’s expertise in delivering exceptional hospitality spaces. Now, we’re proud to be taking that experience interstate, with works underway at The Parkerville Tavern
Watch this space as we continue to share more exciting updates from WA.

A lot of work goes into creating a space made for slowing down.

We’re taking a closer look at the resident amenity spaces we delivered as part of the Malvern Collective fit-out starting with this stunning sauna within the wellness area.

Constructed in house and installed by our joinery team, the sauna was crafted from Western Red Cedar and finished with integrated strip lighting, creating a warm, refined space designed for residents to unwind.

Every successful partnership starts with a single project.
Our first project with Kokoda Property was their immersive display designed to create a premium space where future developments could be brought to life for prospective purchasers.
Since then, the partnership has grown to include landmark hospitality projects such as The Angel of Malvern and Malvern Collective. We’re incredibly grateful for the trust that’s been built over the years and excited for what’s still to come.

Throwing it back to 2020, when Directitude first completed works at the iconic Lucky Coq
Over the years, we’ve returned for a number of smaller projects, but now it’s time for the next chapter.
After two decades as a Melbourne institution, Lucky Coq is closing its doors for a major transformation and we’re proud to once again be apart of its story.

Here’s a closer look at the ground floor bar at The The Angel of Malvern a statement piece crafted in-house by our team from curved blackened steel, finished with a dark granite bar top, black powder-coated carriageway and a matching blackened steel foot rail.
The strength and simplicity of the materials create a cohesive foundation for the Public Bar, while the expressive artwork by Steve Leadbeater brings movement and character into the space, continuing throughout the levels of The Angel.
Stay tuned as we’ll be sharing more from this landmark project, making our way through each level to showcase the details, spaces and craftsmanship that came together to create The Angel of Malvern.

Throwing it back to one of our favourite rooftop transformations. Completed in 2023, Good Heavens Rooftop Bar saw Directitude transform the corner of Bourke and Exhibition Streets into one of Melbourne’s largest rooftop bars. Delivering a project of this scale in the heart of the C*D required careful planning, collaboration and precision resulting in a hospitality destination we’re still incredibly proud of today. With exciting opportunities on the horizon alongside the team at Fancy Hanks, it felt like the perfect time to revisit this incredible project.
