Was doing a stocktake since we are nearing the end of the financial year, and I have found these lighting fixtures. Left over from jobs, cancelled jobs, purchased with intent yet never installed.

Working today for Friendship Lane Coffee Roasting Strathalbyn to get their newest roaster up and running.

I was able to have a special viewing and demonstration by Matt on how this roaster operates. As a lover of machines and how things work, it was great to watch someone else's passion unfold and it was a joy to experience the process of bean roasting.

Below is video is about my friend Alex.

11 years ago today he was fatally electrocuted in a workplace accident, just 3 days after his 23rd birthday.

I was fortunate to be able to share Alex's story at TAFE last year and there wasn't a dry eye in the room. A reminder to stay safe, and work smart. We don't get too many chances for mistakes.

This video may make you cry, but I encourage you to watch it and apply it to your life. Because the simple thing is, we all deserve to go home at the end of the day.
