$28–$32/hr | Part-time (room to grow)

Love a friendly chat and a tidy desk in equal measure? We're a family-run business based in Stawell near The Grampians, specialising in Clearly Designed Homes, Custom Cabinetry and Homewares. We're looking for someone to keep our Office humming and help out in our Showroom & Shop.

You'll greet customers, answer phones, handle admin and contracts, and help with retail sales — all with a can-do attitude and a good eye for detail.

If you are:
- Confident talking to people, in person and on the phone,
- Comfortable in Excel, Outlook, and Word,
- Someone with office admin, customer service, or sales experience,
- Organised, reliable, and keen to learn,

we would love to hear from you.

Hours: Mon–Thu mornings, plus one Friday and Saturday morning a month. Team discount included.

Well, awesome as Solidteknics are at advertising, I wanted to feel, touch and use a Solidteknics pan before I jumped onboard with this Australian-made cookware a couple of years back. If you have been feeling the same, we would love to see you at our FREE Cooking Demo on Thu 4th June with Chef Mark Ramsay.

He will be cooking with both their AUS-ION and noni Stainless Steel and giving us his top tips and tricks. Whether you have been looking at buying a Solidteknics pan online or have one already but want to learn more, come cook with Mark at 2.30pm in our Stawell Kitchen Showroom.

Any Squid Ink Porter's Paints lovers out there? 👋 We choose Squid Ink for this kitchen out at Pat's Place on Oaksham Farm, being inspired by the deep moodiness of the Grampians at our doorstep. Porter's Paints call it “A natural dark charcoal with a touch of blue in the undertone.”

Our May Warmley cabinetry range features handpainted, in-framed Shaker kitchens — blending timeless English design with Australian heart. But what does “in-framed” mean?

In-framed Kitchens celebrate the craftsmanship of original Shaker design. Each cupboard door and drawer front sits nestled within a solid timber frame — rather than overlaying it. It’s a subtle detail, but a significant one. We love the traditional, refined feel it gives.

What the dickens is a local Building and Joinery business doing hosting Chutney Making nights?!

Well, at Saltwood Build, our Kitchens aren’t for looking at… they’re for living in. We are so thankful for the Saltwood Team and our Kitchen Showroom & Shop in the Old Stawell Butter Factory, and we want to share it.

So on Thursday 23 April (6–8pm), we welcomed Sean - Chef, gardener, and the hands behind Lana’s Garden - to work his magic on our Blush AGA and Solidteknics pan to fill the Saltwood Build Showroom & Shop with the smell of simmering chutney and freshly baked sausage rolls. 😋

Thank you to everyone who made Thursday such a relaxed night out. Great photos Karl Meyer 😍 We have plenty of Lana's Garden produce still available to purchase. We really appreciate all the support you showed Sean, as he and Davina seek to honour Lana’s legacy of crafting small-batch, natural rhubarb preserves and condiments.
