Yesterday I dropped off Volume II to the Stanthorpe Art Gallery for the upcoming Stanthorpe Art Prize, tomorrow I drop these 5 models off that feature different designs of Queenslander buildings from different eras to the Warwick Art Gallery for Drawn Together: Portraits of Queensland Homes Community Art Project, a fund-raising event for the Children's Hospital Foundation Community, official opening will be held at 1pm 6th June.
The Somme State School building will be added to these five at when they reunite at Warwick, it's already on display down there.

Dropped Volume II off to the Stanthorpe Art Gallery this morning for the upcoming, prestigious Stanthorpe Art Prize, the gallery space was just like you see on the movies, scattered tables, chairs, handwrittenplace notes, power cords, lighting assemblies, empty packaging, timber crates and many artworks in all shapes and sizes "littered" around the walls, most still in their protective packaging, one of those anonymous works will more than likely be the winner.

There's a control tower, a domed hangar and a ridge hangar, two Airport workers accommodation houses, taxiway, runway, yellow beacons and a helipad, planes seen here in various stages of construction are an F111, a RFDS Beech King, a Spartan, a DC-3 and a Huey helicopter ...
Now you can fly into Mtown for your holidays, maybe take a joy flight 😁

F111 crew "Slushy" and "Genius" (apparently Hollywood has copyrighted the call names Iceman and Goose so they couldn't use those 😄) stopped by the Mtown Airfield to check on constructionprogress, the tower which is based on the design of the old Archerfield airport tower is built along with an igloo hangar, two other planes are there also including the unpainted Spartan and the RFDS Beech King.
