A thoughtful first step in a much bigger plan.
For this Bardon Queenslander, the brief wasn’t just about renovating, it was about setting a clear direction for how the home would evolve over time.
Working with a long-term master plan, Stage One focused on the essentials:
• Bringing everyday living onto one level
• Improving connection to the garden
• Making the home more practical to live in now
• Laying the groundwork for what comes next.
In this client and designer interview, we talk through the thinking behind the first stage and how a clear plan from the beginning helps avoid compromise later.
This is what a good renovation strategy looks like, not just solving today’s problems, but making sure every move counts toward the bigger picture.
