First of many to come for TD. Always great working with good people; some old, some new! Mose Tiling another great job from the great man.

Without a doubt this was the hardest and most stressful week I have experienced as a carpenter.
Everything that could go wrong… did
I think we worked something like 70 hours over the past 6 days including last Sunday until 8pm.
But here we are, finishing the week by getting this bathroom over the line. I couldn’t thank and enough for their efforts! They have helped me so much throughout this process and I am so grateful.
Let’s enjoy the long weekend and start again next week!

And yes there is still a shower screen to go up.

This isn’t your usual glamour bathroom renovation post.

This particular job is for a client who runs a Supported Residential Service home in Noble Park. The challenges of renewing the hot and cold water pipes through a concrete slab and double brick building is enough to give most plumbers cold shivers. Along with the challenge of keeping the facility up and running with the use of bathrooms for the residents we came up with this solution of chasing the pipes in the walls to pick up the old shower breech tails and then rendering flat to existing tiles so we could stick on PVC sheeting to both cover our tracks but to also make the job of cleaning these showers 10x easier for the cleaners.

The skill to cut these sheets precisely with the old walls and floor being out of level is huge and we’re very proud of the guys and the way the job is coming up!

Old spa bath is gone, floor has been dropped for a walk in shower, plumbing roughed in and scratch coat plaster done.

We are so happy to hand over this Bathroom in Hampton!

After many planning sessions and research into materials we decided to go with ripple tiles with a blue boarder tile for the walls and a mid grey tile on the floor. Our client is absolutely stoked and already booking us in at her daughters place for more jobs!
