We’re silly for cylinders this month!
Customer told us mast would creep forward rapidly under load. A simple cylinder bypass test revealed the right tilt cylinder as the culprit. A clear definitive cause of the problem with a back to basics test. Unfortunately a bit more than a reseal so the cylinder is off to the machine shop.

I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend! It’s been a big couple of days for NCMD. A customer called us in to service his two 22 ton diggers along with a list of repairs needed. We completed all the work over the last couple of days on site including a dipper arm cylinder reseal.
The cost of preventative maintenance is much smaller than unplanned repairs resulting in downtime. Both machines can now move onto their next job fresh and ready.
Thanks to Brian for trusting me with his machines. They’re in good hands!

Road trip up to Bendigo today to help a customer sort out some issues they were having with the DPF system on their 9 ton digger. By the time we left we had a happy customer and a happy digger.
