This week it’s Mitch — Quarry Manager & Problem Solver 👊🏼

🛠️ What does a normal day look like for you?
No two days are the same. I might be in the quarry, batching, delivering concrete, or laying under a broken-down crusher wondering how I got myself into this job.

🌊 Favourite Tassie season and why?
Summer. Warm weather and long days. ☀️

🗺️ Dream holiday destination?
A full lap of Australia, exploring our own backyard.

😂 What’s one thing the crew always give you stick about?
Apparently I can’t leave anything “close enough”. If it’s not level and straight, I’ll probably redo it.

🤍 Today there won’t be a Meet the Team Monday.

Instead, we’re sharing the heartbreaking news that our beautiful boy, Lewie, has passed away.

Many of you knew Lewie from the yard. He loved greeting customers, collecting pats, and making everyone smile. He was such a loved part of our team, and we know many of you will miss seeing him as much as we will.

Our hearts are broken, and the yard won’t be the same without our golden boy. ✨🤍

Business Manager. I look after HR, payroll, accounts, marketing, customer enquiries, and a bit of everything behind the scenes.

🌊 Summer or winter on the coast?
Summer, every time.

🤍 Favourite weekend activity?
Hanging at the beach with the fam. That’s my happy place.

Nick. Mainly because his office has a much better view than mine.
