Warehousing Traineeship (Gladstone)
NRG Gladstone Operating Services has operated since 1976 and remains Queensland’s largest single power station. The Gladstone power station is a world-class facility, providing customers with safe, reliable, and low-cost energy.
In partnership with Apprentices and Trainees Queensland NRG Operating Services seek applicants to undertake a 24-month Warehousing Operations Traineeship in Gladstone.
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of duties, such as:
- General housekeeping
- Receipting
- Stock locating
- Stock Maintenance/Replenishment
- Forklift operation
- Order picking, packaging, checking, and dispatching.
Selection Criteria:
- Current Manual Driver’s Licence and good driving record (Essential)
- Construction White card (or willingness to obtain) (Essential)
- Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical (Essential)
- Successful completion of year 12 or equivalent (Essential)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
Personal Attributes:
- Mature, Self- motivated, and proactive with the initiative to solve problems
- Team player with a warm and friendly personality
- Demonstrated time management and ability to prioritise own workload
- Impeccable communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to quickly learn new computer systems
- Ability to work autonomously and under supervision
To be eligible for this position, you must reside in the Gladstone region and be willing to undertake a Certificate III in Supply Chains Operations.
