We had an aging off grid that was struggling to cut the mustard. With 36 x 260 watt old solar modules for a 9.36kW of solar array was doing what it could.
But replacing old panels with AIKO 490 watt solar panels bought the solar capacity up to a whopping 17.64kW of solar capacity.

This AIKO Victron makeover remarkably changed the performance dynamics of this site. Quicker charging, more absorbtion time for the aging lead acid batteries and better cloudy day performance.

What does the consumer get for $1000 plus cost?
Absolutely nothing!

What does the installer get?

The chance to be forced to be the bad guy, extort money from clients and hand it over to people we’ve never met that have no actual role in the design, installation or liabilities that are part of delivering solar systems.

It’s a rort, money for jam, tick in the box steaming pile of s**t!

While we can hope and work for change I suspect there are too many people creaming it off the top to let this easy source of revenue go.
